Biography
Dr. Jonathan Howlett graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School in 1989, and is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Libin Cardiovascular Institute and Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary. He practices as an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist and has been heavily involved in Clinical Practice Guideline generation and Knowledge Translation related to acute and chronic heart failure, as well as clinical investigation. He is a former President of the Canadian Heart Failure Society, Canadian Cardiovascular Society Heart Failure Guidelines Chair and currently chairs the Canadian Cardiovascular Society Guidelines Committee. He has published over 200 peer reviewed articles.
