Dr. Prenner is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She also serves as an Associate Program Director for their Internal Medicine Residency Program. She completed her undergraduate education at Emory University and her graduate education at Drexel University College of Medicine. She finished her post graduate training at Penn for Internal Medicine and Northwestern for Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology.  Her clinical interests include autoimmune liver disease, liver cancer and liver transplantation. She is one of the primary hepatologists who evaluates patients with congenital heart disease for liver related complications and assists with transitioning children with liver conditions into adult practices. Her research looks at ability and safety to use hepatitis C+ donors in heart, lung, and kidney transplant recipients.  In her role as an APD in the internal medicine residency, she creates the curriculum for all outpatient didactic education in the various medicine subspecialties.
