Wynne Chiu

Wynne Chiu is the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) for the heart failure, mechanical circulatory support & heart transplant program at St. Paul’s Hospital, Providence Health Care in British Columbia. She has over a decade of clinical experience in the field of heart failure/transplant prior to this role. The other areas of her past clinical experience include clinical informatics, cardiology, cardiac surgery intensive care, and adult congenital heart disease.

She was recently appointed to the Canadian Heart Failure Society (CHFS) Board of Directors and continues to be an active member in the Nursing and Allied Health Council as well as the Education Board of CHFS. She is also a board member of directors in the Canadian Heart Failure Network. As a nurse who has worked in the cardiac program for two decades, she has effectively built networks and alliances with other cardiac clinicians locally, provincially and nationally.
